Is it possible to have/start a Spider Riders roleplaying area in this forum. I'm a top moderator of MANY MANY MANY RPGs and even have my own site full of roleplaying fun.
So I was just wondering if we could start one up around here just for kickers. I thought that would be an awesome idea, and I could semi run it if you guys don't know how....
I already have some ideas in mind, so if you want them, just let me know....I'm ready to RIDE! Are you?
Meh....also wondering if there is a place where I can hst my fanfictions and fanarts and other SR media. So, if there is,let me know.

Spider Riders RPG
1.) Storyline- Arachna Kingdom lies peacefully in a mysterious place known as the Inner World. The Inner World is a magical realm located in Earth, and in this world‘s history, warriors known as the Spider Riders battled an evil army of pillagers known as the Invectids. After a few years of tranquility, the attacks on the land’s small towns began again. Mantid, the evil leader of the Invectid army, has again began his conquest. His faithful followers: Bugeuse, Beerain, Staggs, and Grasshop, are also ready for the challenge. Hunter Steele, one of the bravest Spider Riders to date, had made himself comfortable with Corona and Igneous, the top Spider Rider warriors. Now it looks as if the adventures are about to begin again…but what’s this? Another Earthen has descended into the Inner World? What omen, or victory, will she bring to the kingdom…Only time will tell. CALLING ALL SPIDER RIDERS!

Advantages and Disadvantages-
Each character has the potential to unlock his/her secret advantage, but also to tap into their disadvantages. You’ll have to choose one advantage and disadvantage pair for your character.
HUMANS-
* Pity on Humans Advantage- Stats of the opponent decrease by 1/3. Disadvantage is that this only works on Riders, Spiders, and Invectids.
* Hit and Runner Advantage- Allows a human to dodge the first three attacks played at him/her. Disadvantage is that defense decreases by ¼ after the skill is used. * Group Shaman Advantage- When a human uses a healing item, it doubles the effects and spreads to everyone in the group. Disadvantage is that this can only be used if a healing item is in possession and there are two or more humans in the party.
RIDERS-
* Brave Heart Advantage- Rider gains back half his/her stamina when HP falls below half. Disadvantage is that after the health drops below half, agility decreases greatly, and dodging attacks always fails.
* Mind Control Advantage- Rider gains the ability to switch/change stats for a battle with another stat number. The two remained swapped for the remainder of the battle. Disadvantage is that after the swap, you cannot reuse the ability for three battles, and swapping consumes 75 HP.
* Restless Soul Advantage- Rider increases agility and defense by whatever number they choose, so long as the number doesn’t exceed power and stamina added together. Disadvantage is that the number increased to agility and defense is split in decreasing stamina and power. The skill is also not able to be used after three battles, and an additional five battles will have to fought and won before the skill returns.
* Team SPIRIT! Advantage- Rider can borrow stats from another Rider, swapping one of his stat categories with the other for a battle. The one that gets swapped also receives an additional boost of stamina no larger than 150 in number. Disadvantage is that the Rider’s Spider decreases in agility and power by half throughout the battle.
* Spider POWER! Advantage- Rider adds half off all stats to the Spider, making the Spider stronger in combat. Disadvantage is that the stats for the Rider fall, and if a Rider dismounts, the skill is nullified until activated in the next battle.

* Creepy Crawler Advantage- Power and Agility are swapped, and HP drop count is decreased by half. Disadvantage is that the Rider’s HP drop count is increased by 1/4th.
* Rider POWER! Advantage- Spider adds half of all stats to the Rider, making the Rider stronger in combat. Disadvantage is that the stats for the Spider fall, and if a Rider dismounts, the skill is nullified until three battles from then.

INVECTID WARRIORS-
* Hit and Runner Advantage- Allows an Invectid warrior to dodge the first three attacks played at him/her. Disadvantage is that defense decreases by ¼ after the skill is used.
* Loyalty to Mantid- All stats of the warrior increase by half when HP falls below half. If Mantid is in combat with the warrior, stats increase when HP falls below ¼. Disadvantage is that the Invectid cannot restore HP throughout the battle with his own items. However, another ally can heal for them, but the ally who heals looses 30 HP per healing period. When the warrior’s HP increases above ¼, the stats return to normal state.
* Fallen Warrior Advantage- When a warrior’s HP falls to zero, he is automatically revived if this skill is enacted. HP restores to full amount. Disadvantage is that stats dramatically drop to less than half, depending on HP amount restored. Also, this skill will not be able to be activated for another seven battles.
* Dark Demise Advantage- Warrior can unleash double special attacks in one turn (post) with twice the effectiveness in damage, causing a great deal of harm to the opponent. Disadvantage is that agility decreases to below half, and ability to dodge attacks is nullified for the rest of the battle. This skill can only be used at the beginning of battle.
* Loyalty to Bugeuse- When the skill is activated, the Invectid warrior’s special attacks only consume ½ stamina as usual. When Bugeuse is fighting alongside the warrior, special attacks only consume ¼ the stamina as usual. Disadvantage is that only Invectid warriors under Bugeuse can use this skill, and power stat decreases by ¼. This skill can only be activated every other battle.
* Loyalty to Beerain- An Invectid warrior can steal ½ of the stat points from 2 categories of the enemy and add them to his/her own same categories. If Beerain is in the battle, the warrior can steal half of the stat points from all 4 categories. Disadvantage is that only Invectid warriors under Beerain can use this skill, and HP drops 2x’s the amount when the warrior takes damage.
* Loyalty to Stags- The Invectid warrior that executes this skill can triple his power stat, making him/her incredibly strong. If Stags is in the battle as well, the warrior can add half of the tripled power stat to any of the stat categories, but also keep the triples power stat. Disadvantage is that only the Invectid warriors under Stags can use this skill, and agility is decreased by 2/3. Also, this skill can only be activated if there are two or more opponents on the opposing team.
* Loyalty to Grasshop- This skill sucks half of the agility from the opponent and adds it to the warrior’s own agility. And you can execute two special attacks per turn. When Grasshop is on the team, three special attacks can be executed per turn. Also, having Grasshop on the team allows escape from battle with double chance of successful escape. Disadvantage is that only Invectid warriors under Grasshop can use this skill, and defense drops below half. This skill is can only be activated every other battle.
SPECIAL ADVANTAGE/DISADVANTAGES:
Main characters already have certain advantage/disadvantage pairs allotted to them. Below is a list of what character has what skill pair:
Hunter Steele and Igneous-
* Never Give Up Advantage- When HP falls below half, power and defense triple. Special Attack usage is nullified until HP is restored above half, but when HP returns to above half power and defense stats decrease to double the amount.
Magma and Corona-
* Team Buster Spirit Advantage- Rider and Spider form together to do one entity that share stats and special attacks are enacted together. Disadvantage is that before the skill is activated, HP and Stamina have to fall below half.
Price Lumin and Princess Sparkle-
* Royal Flush Advantage- Stat points double at the beginning of the battle and increase in small increments throughout the battle. Disadvantage is that both Prince Lumin and Princess Sparkle have to be in the battle.
Shadow-
* Lone Spider Advantage- All stats increase by half, and stamina consumption is decreased by half. Disadvantage is that Shadow has to be fighting alone, without the aid of anyone else in the battle.
Venus and Hotarla-
* Lady Luck Advantage- Increases money drop by enemies when successful in battle. Disadvantage is that stats drop by ¼ when fighting an opponent of the same sex.
Flame, Ebony, Brutus-
* Hermes Wing’s Advantage- Agility triples when activated. Disadvantage is that it can only be used once every three battles.
Mantid-
* Predatory Prophet Advantage- Stats double, special attacks cause no damage, and HP is increased by half. Disadvantage is that the opponent can triple one stat and skill can only be used once every seven battles.
Bugeuse-
* Invectid Valor Advantage- Special attacks only consume ¼ the stamina as usual and HP is increased by half. This skill can only be activated every other battle.
Beerain-
* Sweet Honey Advantage- Can steal half of the stat points from all 4 categories. Opponents of the opposite sex have 1/8 chance of being stunned every turn. Disadvantage is that HP drops 2x’s the amount when Beerain takes damage. Can only be activated every other battle.
Stags-
* Brute Strength Advantage- Can triple his power stat, making him incredibly strong and can add half of the tripled power stat to any of the stat categories, but also keep the triples power stat. Disadvantage is that agility is decreased by 2/3.
Grasshop-
* Cowardice Advantage- Three special attacks can be executed per turn, and agility doubles. Grasshop can escape from battle with a 2/3 success rate. Disadvantage is that defense decreases by ¼ and this skill can only be activated every other battle.
STATUS EFFECTS:
Sometimes a character can be forced into various status effects. Below is a list of current status effects and what they do.
NEGATIVE STATUS EFFECTS:
Faint: Happens when a character’s HP falls to 0. The character becomes inactive in battle unless he/she is revived. HP recovers to half after the battle is over.
Poison: Character’s HP drops every turn (post) by a small amount. When HP reaches to less than ¼, it quits dropping. Poison stays active even after battle until cured.
Stoned: A character turns to stone and is unable to execute attacks until cured. Attacks towards the stoned character will be nullified. Stone is automatically cured after the battle.
Paralyzed: A character’s body stiffens and he/she cannot attack or move. The character is still susceptible to enemy attacks. Paralysis isn’t cured after battle, and will remain until the character is treated.
Blinded: Character’s attacks miss ½ of the time. It can be cured during battle, or automatically cured after battle.
Confused: A character becomes confused. When he/she attacks, the attack always hit’s the enemy, but also causes HP damage to him/her as well. A confused character’s attacks can also accidentally hit an ally. Confusion is automatically cured after battle, and can go away during battle by a random percent every turn (post).
Charmed: A character becomes delusional and falls in love with an opponent. He/she refuses to attack the certain individual, and sometimes lashes out if an ally attacks the person he/she is charmed over. Charm can wear off during battle, be cured by an item, or is automatically cured after the battle.
Drained: Happens on random chance when an attack makes a character’s HP fall below half. Character becomes tired and unable to dodge or perform specialty attacks. This can only be cured after a battle is over.
Immune: Items cannot work on the character. This can only be cured automatically after battle.
Virus: Character stats drop little by little each turn (post). There is a random chance that he/she will be cured each turn. Items and a battle’s end can cure this status effect.
Bind: A character’s agility drops to 0. He/she cannot dodge attacks, and can only attack once every other turn. This can be cured by an item or automatically after a battle.
Stun: A character becomes inactive for however long the stun remains and is susceptible to attacks, HP decreasing 2x’s the amount as usual. Can only be cured by waiting turns or after battle.
POSITIVE STATUS EFECTS:
Invincible: Character cannot be attacked. Can last up to three turns.
Spark: When HP drops below half, may cause a spark in anger, which temporarily boosts attack power.
Love: When two characters are fighting, one can defend the other from one attack. This occurs randomly with character relationships boosting how often it happens. Damage to the character that is defending is cut by 2/3. This may last up to three turns.
Bravery: A character’s normal attack does 2x’s normal damage. This occurs randomly in battle, and may last between 2 to 4 turns.
Immune (positive): Character cannot be infected with a bad status effect. This eventually wears off.
Recovery: HP continues to increase a bit each turn. This wears off after a random number of turns.
Link: A character can temporarily use one of his/her ally’s special attacks.

GOING UP THE RANKS:
Humans are quite versatile creatures, capable of being recruiting in any field, be it Rider or Invectid Warrior. While Invectid Warriors can be created from scratch, most Riders will have to raise in the ranks to become a Spider Rider. Invectids can also rise up the ranks of the Invectid Army, getting promoted to great positions and maximizing their many stats. Riders, once chosen and recruited, can also rise in the ranks of a Spider Rider.
In the beginning of the RPG, 5 positions will be open for Spider Riders created from scratch, not including the main Earthen from the storyline. This is based on a first come, first served basis, and the created Rider will also have to make a Spider to control.
Spiders separate from a Rider can be created to later be paired with Humans and then rise in the ranks and become chosen to be a Spider Rider. However, only select humans can fulfill this dream, as only the worthiest are chosen to protect Arachnia Kingdom.
While some Riders and Spiders play the good cards, some individuals willingly choose to invest their time into serving the Invectid Army, which means that Riders, Spiders, and humans alike can enroll if they meet qualifications. The army always has room for recruits!

Various team masters are available to train new members and to help them boost their skills. Trainings take up stamina and include many tasks and missions that will challenge your Human/ Rider/Spider/Invectid, based on their level. The starting trainings are available at the beginning of roleplay…
SPIDER RIDERS: *for Spiders and Riders only*
* Hunter’s Never Give Up Training : stamina usage- 150, cost- 250 gold, short training, for Spiders and Riders single or partnership, this is the base training for beginner Spider Riders
-Brief overview: Teaches how to effectively battle in positive attitude through friendly spars that rely mostly on defense and power stats, and instruct one as how to battle efficiently and make the most of stats and situations.
-Instructor(s): Hunter Steele or Prince Lumin
-Bonuses: + 5 to all stats, + 15 to HP count, grade S prize: Blue Tonic, grade A prize: Heal Bloom
* Hunter’s Team Spirit Training: stamina usage- 200, cost- 300 gold, short training, for Spider and Riders partnership, must have had Hunter’s Never Give Up to participate in this training
-Brief overview: Teaches teamwork and the efficiency of working as a Spider Rider partnership. Spars will be held in which one Spider Rider takes on another pair. Paired trainings can be requested (with one made-up pair against another).

GRADES FOR TRAININGS:
During each session you’ll have to complete specific tasks efficiently. The better you do at a training, the better grade you receive. The grading system is simple.
S- You’ve outdone yourself and topped the training with over maximum ease and expectancy. If you obtain an S grade, you receive a prize item.
A- Outstanding performance with little or no mistakes. If you get A grade, you’ll receive a small prize.
B- You did well, with little mistakes.
C- Average.
D- You made a few mistakes, but they were minor. You still pass.
E- You slipped up more than a few times…you’ll have to retake the training over again.
F- Failure. You’ll definitely be retaking the training.
Each training’s qualifications will become more and more difficult as you rise up in the ranks through climbing over trainings. The later trainings will have grave consequences on your ranks and other things as you go into them, so PREPARE yourself before taking on a tougher training course.

I really wish the admin would let me start the RPG up now tho....and bah, does anyone know the currency in the Inner World? Just wondering... ;D
